DALLAS (2019) – White Rock Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce it recently advised Identification Plates, Inc. (“ID Plates”) on its sale to Gemini Incorporated (“Gemini”).
ID Plates is a family owned and run company. Founded by Doug Crownover, working with his son Matthew Crownover, ID Plates has grown into a nationally recognized provider of sheet metal, stock and custom blanks to the awards and recognition industry. All manufacturing is done in their 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Mesquite, Texas.
Founded in 1963, Gemini is a family-owned company and is an industry leader in the wholesale manufacture of dimensional letters, logos and plaques. Gemini manufactures its products in 20 plants throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. The partnership brings together two, family owned businesses.
“The partnership between Gemini and Identification Plates will allow us to leverage similar cultures of taking care of our customers and our people,” Gemini President Fred Oss said. “Identification Plates will operate much the same as they have with operations and 100% of the workforce in place at the current facility in Mesquite, TX.”
